GENERAL DEFINITION AND CONDITIONS OF WORK:

 

Work is performed under the general supervision of the building principal, or their designee. This is an exempt position as defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act. Employees holding exempt positions often are required to follow a flexible work schedule, which may include working extended hours to meet specific job responsibilities. The contracted salary covers all hours worked.

Vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; visual acuity is required for color perception, preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities.

 

Hold the Collegiate Professional License with a specific endorsement in the area to which assigned; have an acceptable rating for any teaching experience noted on the application; and have demonstrated the personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, school personnel and members of the community.
