This is an itinerant 7 hour per day/182 day contract position. Employee should be available to go to all Carroll County Public Schools based on employee outages and need.
This is a non-exempt position as defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This is light work requiring the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects; work requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; visual acuity is required for color perception, preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, use of measuring devices, assembly or fabrication of parts at or within arm's length, operation of machines, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities.
Preferably hold a high school diploma or GED certificate.
Have some knowledge and experience in quantity cooking preferred.
Have ability to learn and work in all areas of kitchen.
Certificate from the health department permitting the handling of food.
Must possess physical attributes necessary to move furniture and furnishings and to lift and stack commodities.
Have demonstrated the personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, school personnel and members of the community.
Job requires lifting and shelving cases of food (40-50 pounds), moving and stacking furniture, continuous standing. |
